Advisory Committee

IRIS has been developed through a consultative process, which included stakeholders meetings that discussed key concepts related to ethical recruitment and elements of IRIS. In addition to the series of stakeholder meetings, a smaller advisory committee has been created to guide and support the overall development and implementation of IRIS. The advisory committee comprises representatives of key stakeholder communities, including government agencies, international organizations, employers and brands, private recruitment industry, civil society and trade unions.

The committee meets in-person at least twice yearly to:

1

Provide strategic and technical advice on the development and implementation of IRIS

2

Support the IRIS objectives for the promotion of ethical recruitment practices

3

Share best practices and advances in stakeholder efforts to promote ethical recruitment
